Bright Spring sits at the vivid end of the warm family. Its three axes read: warm undertone, medium depth, bright chroma — and of the three, chroma does most of the work. This is a season defined less by how light or dark a colour is than by how clear it stays. Gold is the metal that agrees with it. Some schools call this season Clear Spring; the label changes, the recipe does not.
The palette
The verified names group themselves quite naturally. There is a coral-to-pink run in coral, bright coral, warm pink and poppy red; a pair of yellows in bright yellow and golden yellow; a pair of greens in lime and lime green; and one blue-leaning entry, turquoise.

Notice how the qualifiers inside the names — bright, golden, warm — repeat the axes. That is no accident. The palette is simply the axes made visible.
Conventionally avoided
Every entry on this list fails the same test. Dust, grey and mute are the vocabulary of low chroma, and low chroma is exactly what this season does not have. Heavy dark browns add a second miss: they overshoot a medium depth as well.

One honest note to finish. Neighbouring seasons share most of their working wardrobe, and a Bright Spring will find real overlap with the seasons either side of it.
